Adam & Mariana

The moment Adam & Mariana inquired with us we knew this was going to be a wedding for the ages.  From the amazing Coptic Orthodox ceremony, to the beautifully decorated ballroom, Egyptian Zaffa and Belly Dancer with every detail perfectly planned.

The day began at the Sheraton Tysons Corner Hotel where the bridal party began getting ready.  After finishing hair and make-up Adam and Mariana exchanged gifts & letters that nearly left Adam in tears.  We then headed to a beautiful veranda to capture Mariana’s first look with her father who had the biggest smile on his face.  This special moment was then followed by Adam and Mariana’s first touch.  It was a time that Adam used to pray over their marriage and the day before leaving for the ceremony.

The incredible ceremony was held at Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church where family and friends gathered.  After the bridal parties made their entrances, Mariana made her way down the aisle and Adam was able to see his soon-to-be bride for the very first time today.  The emotion on his face says it all as he was completely taken over by the moment.  The love they shared with each other was obvious and felt by all in attendance.  The ceremony was very traditional and included a beautiful crowning ceremony, along with a heartfelt message from the priest.

After they were pronounced husband and wife the guests all left for the hotel to prepare for cocktail hour and the reception as the bridal party remained in order to get photo & video.

Later we all headed over to the Reception where Mariana and Adam shared a special moment getting to see the room setup first before the doors opened.  Since they had a few moments they even took a time to practice their choreographed first dance on the dance floor.

Next up was the grand entrance led by an Egyptian Zaffa band to the middle of the dance floor where everyone joined in on the celebration.  Matthew, their college friend, shared a short story and blessed the food with a prayer.

After meals, Adam and Mariana surprised everyone with a choreographed first dance that ended with a medley of popular songs and props that left everyone with a smile on their face.  We then moved into toasts, and were followed by a belly dancing performance and cake cutting.

For us, being able to celebrate with Adam and Mariana becoming husband and wife among their friends and family was such a dream.
