Alisha & James

From the moment Alisha and James inquired, we knew right away that this couple was amazing.  We connected so well, and loved the vision they had for the wedding day.

Their wedding day began at the Inn with Alisha getting hair and makeup done with her bridesmaids and James hanging out with his groomsmen.  Everyone then left and headed to the beautiful Chrysler Museum of Art for all the festivities.  The day began with a private first look in the garden with Alisha and James.  It was such a special moment shared between the two of them on their wedding day.  From there we headed to a few different locations for photos and video.

The ceremony began with a beautiful precessional followed by Alisha being escorted down the aisle by her mother.  Alisha looked stunning in her beautiful dress as everyone stood witnessing this special moment.  The pastor began by delivering a beautiful message, and then vows were exchanged between the couple.  They exchanged rings and were then pronounced husband and wife in front of all their friends and family.

After the ceremony, everyone moved into the Ancient Worlds Gallery for cocktail hour while the Antonia Christianson Events planning team quickly flipped the room for the Reception.  During this time, we were able to take Alisha and James throughout the museum for photo and video.

Once the room was ready, the guests were invited back for the introduction of the bridal party.  Alisha and James then made their introduction atop the grand staircase in the Hubert Court atrium to a thunderous applause.  They then moved right into their first dance to “When I First Saw You” by Jamie Foxx and Beyonce`.

There was then a heartfelt welcome speech given by both Alisha and James’ mothers, and a prayer by Uncle Fred Davis before dinner was served. Toasts were then given by the Best Man and Matron of Honor that retold their story.  From how they met in college to where they are today.  Toasts were followed by cake cutting and then dancing the rest of the night.

Their wonderful evening then ended with a private last dance before exiting the museum through the celebration from friends and family.
